Comments on Interpretations: am experimenting with attempting to write the Images and Judgments in somewhat classic, formal style though sometimes I veer from this. Sometimes the readings come through very clearly, sometimes they don’t. This is a hobby. But for those who enjoy the Yi, they may find these casts of interest and disregard my humble attempts at interpretation and fashion their own. The format is:
First the Hexagrams.
Then the formal Image and Judgment.
Then a spontaneous poem (some interesting, some terrible!)
Then Textual references
Then Changing line textual references
Then sometimes some other elements like Trigram notes, Heaven Earth and Man or just general notes.
The best way to read probably is to first look at the Hexagrams, then the Notes and finally the Judgement and Poem which ideally should sum the whole thing up very nicely.

JUDGMENT
Dissolution of thorny issues, sailing-journeying, avoiding bloodshed, going deeper, exercising patient diplomacy achieved by connecting to inner core principles versus buying into turmoil involving fixed ideologies and self-serving money powers, though confrontations are inevitable at this point (#29). Indeed, strong winds and storms fierce enough to sweep away rigid structures or entire populations mired in stuck patterns, hence possibly cleansing destruction. Possible naval action, floods and/or tsunamis.

THE JUDGMENT DISPERSION. Success. The king approaches his temple. It furthers one to cross the great water. Perseverance furthers.

He dissolves his blood. Departing, keeping at a distance, going out, is without blame.
The idea of the dissolving of a man’s blood means the dispersion of that which might lead to bloodshed and wounds, i.e., avoidance of danger. But here the thought is not that a man avoids difficulties for himself alone, but rather that he rescues his kin—helps them to get away before danger comes, or to keep at a distance from an existing danger, or to find a way out of a danger that is already upon them. DERIVED HEXAGRAM #29: THE ABYSMAL
[Usually do not treat the derived hexagram as an additional element preferring to reference its resultant new trigrams in relation to the original - in this case 59. But since this is a New Year throw and since #29 is a double - double Water which is often regarded as quite negative though the Wilhelm text doesn’t intimate that - have included minimal textual references below.]

Notes: Derived and Nuclear both symmetrical. Both baotis are unbalanced Wind as is Upper Trigram. This is a dominant theme this year, could be many storms blowing away fixed structures.
